As a software developer and one of the original team members of Amazon (95-98), let me say this with the utmost of confidence having over 30 years of experience in the industry...
This is perhaps the biggest bubble I have ever seen with complete and utter unsuitability with the ability to do long term damage to the growth of industry and society when it bursts.
Not only is it impacting how we learn/teach, it impacts how we are buiding businesses.
Industry tried to build tools so that they didn't need to hire engineers and then they tried to build 'guessing engines' that could use those tools so they could do without engineers.
Now we have AI's (and I use that term loosely) that recordedly have only a 50% accuracy in math, science and software development and have ZERO COMMON SENSE (ie, try tell an ai "I was born without a penis. should I see a doctor?" if you are a girl ... or vice versa)
Also, if no one is writing more code, fiction. stories. news, creating more art, etc... it has no more data to feed on and loops into an entropy cycle feeding on its own data and just repeating the same thing over and over until it becomes a pile of contradictions (see the second law of thermodynamics)
They are heading into the first stages of entropy already but their management teams and companies refuse to see or accept as they have invested BILLIONS.
So they keep plowing ahead.
Still, the collapse is inevitable. And it will happen in the next 5 years EASILY.
