Holy crap these benchmarks SUCK! This is probably why I don’;t use Lambdas… for a better benchmark (and benchmarking tool), see this (https://github.com/orubel/beapi-bench)

That was done on a test environment with EVERYTHING (including the DB) on my laptop fighting for resources… and it nearly DOUBLES Lambda while still having twice as much functionality: CORS, OAUTH validation/auth, automated batching/webhooks/apidocs, etc.
