I remember all the people in the JAVA community being SO PISSED about this in Groovy so many years ago and now they are all being hypocrites! Groovy is 100% compatible with Java and compiles to the JVM but can also be statically compiled. Why does JAVA think it needs this? It's better to have a separate tool for scripting
