I used to have that inferiority complex then I found out that ALOT of Google and Amazon devs are just 'tool users' with degrees; when it comes down to it, they just can't do software engineering.

Its those tiny FEW that make the rest of those at Google and Amazon look brilliant... when they truly aren't. They are just mediocre.
